COVID PROTOCOL

Below is our protocol on how the GLAM bar will be operating business at this time.

When you arrive at the salon for your appointment;

Confirm that you have answered "NO" to all the questions below.

Doors are now UNLOCKED. Come in masked (or we have masks in stock for you) . Masks are now mandated in all public places. Please wait at front desk to be helped. Do not sit down until you have been assigned to.

If you choose to sit and wait in your vehicle, please call the salon or message your service provider that you have arrived and they will message you when they are ready for you to come in.

Children, friends, family etc are not permitted to enter the salon without an appointment. 
 
Every employee is required to wear regulated PPE mandated by the government.
 
All electronics will be wiped down with a disinfectant upon entering the salon.

 

Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer upon arrival (provided).

Washroom are available during your service 
 
We are implementing touchless temperature checks for all guests (and employees) entering the salon. Anyone who does not have a normal temperature will not be permitted into the salon.
 
 If you are sick or have been around anyone who is ill, please reschedule asap. COVID 19 or not, our team and other guests cannot afford the risk of becoming ill or compromised. We ask that you are 48 hours symptom free before coming to your scheduled appointment. 
 
We will be offering coffee/tea (in a disposable cup) and bottled water. 

All form of payment is accepted
 
No shows and cancellations within 48 hour of the appointments will be subject to a fee based on the servicing time reserved for you. Please be respectful of our service providers time, and the time of other guests. WE REQUIRE 48 HOURS NOTICE DURING BUSINESS HOURS. Note we are closed SUNDAY/MONDAY so please call according to your appointment time.
 
Late guests may be asked to reschedule, with an incurred fee. We require time between all appointments for sanitizing measures going forward.

In the last 14 days have you: Travelled outside Saskatchewan but within Canada?  Had NON-close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19? Spent prolonged time (i.e. >15 min) with people outside your extended household where you were not able to maintain physical distance or use appropriate PPE† for the situation ? If you answered yes to this question, we require that you self monitor for symptoms and wear a mask during your entire service.
 
As changes continue to be announced, and as government restrictions are passed, changed, and lifted, these policies are subject to change with little or no notice.

TO OUR VALUED CLIENTS; PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ANSWER YES TO THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS, WE KINDLY ASK THAT YOU CONTACT THE SALON TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT.

1. Do you have any of the following symptoms? Fever (temperature ≥ 38.0 Celsius). New or worsening respiratory symptoms NOT RELATED to seasonal or environmental allergies.
 
2. Have you tested positive for COVID-19?*

3. In the last 14 days have you: Been outside of Canada, including to the United States?   Had CLOSE contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19? 

4. In the last 14 days have you: Lived in, visited, or worked in a community or facility deemed an area of concern** for COVID-19? 

    * If you have received clearance by occupational health, employee health, or public health as no longer a risk following exposure or positive test,  you can answer no  ** Current list is available at screening stations    † Appropriate PPE includes cloth masks for non-medical situations 

COVID-19
 Symptoms include:
 Cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing,
 sore throat, runny nose, chills, loss of sense of smell or taste, headache, aches and pains.

There is nothing more important to us then your safety and comfort when you visit our salon.
That’s why we pledge to adhere to the highest standards.
We have taken measures prior to opening that adhere and surpass what is asked
by government regulations.

No friends, pets or family members are allowed to accompany clients receiving appointments.
Elderly needing support or assistant are permitted to be accompanied by their caregiver, but caregivers will have to wait outside of the salon. If you need to come in and help with your young child that is also permitted.

We have taken steps to ensure your safety in all the different areas of our salon while having a great
experience.
